Ongoing wellness care and prevention of health problems are very important to ensuring that your pet leads a long, healthy life. At Adair County Animal Hospital, pet exams and vaccinations are recommended at least once per year for pets of all ages. Depending on your fur babies life stage and physical condition, more visits may be recommended.

Feline Wellness Plan
​Base Services & Pricing

Our canine plans:
  • Kitten Basic-  includes all of the preventative care examinations, core vaccines, and basic laboratory tests necessary to help protect kittens against illness and disease.
  • Kitten Plus-  is designed for comprehensive care during the first year of a kitten's life and also includes our routine spay or neuter laser surgery package with laser therapy.
  • Young Adult- includes bi-annual preventative care examinations, core vaccine boosters, and basic laboratory tests necessary to help protect cats against illness and disease.
  • Adult- a plan which includes everything in the Young Adult tier plus provides a blood pressure check and basic annual blood screen, which ensures we're looking at the types of diseases and conditions that can affect an adult cats.
  • Senior Adult- our most comprehensive feline plan that provides provides our expanded blood chemistry panel and also includes our grade 1 dental cleaning credit.

​NO MATTER THE PLAN TIER OR PET AGE, PLANS CAN BE PERSONALIZED BY ADDING ADDITIONAL SERVICES SPECIFIC TO YOUR PET'S NEEDS.

Plans With Routine Spay or Neuter Includes:
  • Pre-anesthetic examination
  • IV catheter and fluids
  • General Anesthesia
  • Vital sign monitoring
  • Surgical procedure with laser*
  • Post-operative laser therapy
  • Single dose of Capstar

*Please note, feline neuters are not completed with laser surgery due to the relatively simple and quick nature of the procedure.
Plans With Dental Cleaning Includes:
  • Pre-anesthetic examination
  • IV catheter and fluids
  • General Anesthesia
  • Vital sign monitoring
  • Full mouth dental radiographs
  • Oral examination
  • Scale and polish of all teeth
  • Fluoride treatment
  • Local anesthesia
  • Antibiotic injection (prophylactically)
  • Post-procedure laser therapy (gums)
  • Single dose of Capstar
