ACAH's 911 "Angel Fund"This community fund is an in-house account available to pet owner's who cannot afford their pet's emergency medical care after exhausting all other available financial options first. The specific case is then voted on by our entire staff to determine if the client/patient receives any available funds. Donations can be made by rounding up on any invoice or directly to the ACAH Emergency Angel Fund via ACAH using cash, credit/debit card, (or check option for established clients only.)

Rabies Vaccine ClinicsCurrently, we hold Rabies vaccine clinics twice a year. Typically during the entire months of January and August. During these times, one year Rabies vaccines are given by our licensed veterinarians at a reduced rate to encourage our community to provide this state required vaccine to all animals on their property. We believe animal health and human health go hand in hand.

Co-Founder of G.R.A.W.L.In 2003, Dr. Shantila Rexroat, along with other associates, helped establish the Green River Animal Welfare League (GRAWL) in Adair County with the intentions of bringing an animal shelter to service the county and surrounding communities. The formation of GRAWL led to state grants and funding and additional community member donations. The Adair County Animal Shelter was completed and opened in 2006.
