As an AAHA-accredited animal hospital, we provide the highest level of care and safety to our patients before, during, and after anesthetic procedures! Our routine spay and neuter packages, therefore, were built to mirror those standards of care.
We include:
Pre-Surgical Exam: an abbreviated evaluation for any physical problem prior to surgery.
Pre-Anesthetic Blood Work: to evaluate for internal problems, such as but not limited to: blood clotting time, dehydration, any unknown infection, vital organ function, etc. Blood work provides essential health information that can help us customize anesthesia to your pet when needed and provide a baseline should they ever become ill. Required base blood work items:
Complete Blood Count (CBC)
Electrolytes Panel
Choice of: Chemistry 10 (10 pieces of vital organ information) or Chemistry 17 (17 pieces of vital organ information)
Surgical Alteration using LASER which will minimize pain, blood loss, and swelling. (Exception: Feline neuters-- which are minimally invasive procedures.)
Complimentary nail trim
Continual Anesthesia Monitoring by a highly trained veterinary assistant evaluating heart rate, respiration, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and temperature as well as a vitals machine.
IV Fluids: given throughout the procedure and post-op. (Exception: feline neuters.)
Post-Surgical Laser Therapy over the incision area to help minimize pain and swelling.
Free "911" Microchip (OPTIONAL or UPGRADE to a Home Again Microchip that includes registration.)
Pain medications given before surgery and a 3-day supply to go home with.
The follow up appointment 2 weeks after surgery.
As you can see, there is no comparison. Your pet deserves the best! Let us help.
Spay and neuter pricing is based on age, weight, and general health of your pet. Please call, text, or email our hospital for an estimate determined by your specific pet. Additional charges may apply to pets who are mature and over 2 years old, pregnant or in heat, or overweight at the time of surgery.
An up-to-date rabies vaccination is also required for the health and safety of the pet, other patients, team members, and community. Please provide vaccination proof if given by another licensed veterinarian.
