At Adair County Animal Hospital, it has been our honor to care for the pets who brought joy, comfort, and unconditional love to their families. This page is a tribute to those cherished companions who are no longer with us, but whose memories continue to live on in our hearts.

Pete Judd

This precious puppy was found alone by the side of a road back in 2010, looking scared and lonesome. We took him into our home, named him Pete, and he quickly became part of our family. For over 15 years he blessed us with love, laughter, and unconditional loyalty. He went on family vacations, attended birthday parties, and loved us through the loss of our older dog, Bud. Pete was loved by everyone who met him, including folks who didn’t particularly care for animals. We miss him deeply every day, but we are thankful for the 15 years he was part of our home. We see Pete in some of the habits of our young dog, Boone, who had the past year to learn from Pete about our routines and expectations. Pete was one-of-a-kind, for sure. Our pet, our companion, and our unconditional friend, who will forever be loved and never forgotten. This precious little “rescue” rescued us. Benny & Mary Susan Judd Russell Springs, KY P.S. One of my sweetest memories of Pete is when he would hold his leash in his mouth when we would take our walks, like he was walking me.

in loving memory
